Description: Art critic John Locke (Wilby) deals with oriental motives in the work of Eugene Delacroix, and therefore lives in a gloomy mansion in the middle of the Arab quarter of Marrakesh, from time to time entertaining himself by tying his young, but rather underage servant Belkis (Verissimo ) and crumbles a dress on it with scissors. Once at the bazaar, he sees a blonde girl in a gauze cape (55-year-old Arielle Dombal, a miracle of longevity), who in great leaps leads him to the house of the campy art lover Anatoly (Shopel). Anatoly, the owner of a sadomasochistic brothel, where a dominatrix in sparkles is harassing submissive sex slaves with whips, shows Lok a bunch of Delacroix's erotic watercolors, in which he recognizes the old girl in gauze. The scientist falls in love with his own obsession and after a while falls into the field of vision of the Marrakech police, who, it seems, is monitoring here not only the reality, but also dreams.
